Courseware Description

  • Autodesk Fabrication CAMduct Essentials training cover ductwork manufacturing production through a combination of innovative tools to more efficiently produce and install building services systems. The teaching strategy is to start with a few basic tools that let the participant create, edit, and report values in a basic model. Then continue to develop those tools, as well as being introduced to more advanced tools throughout the course.

Courseware Objectives

  • The primary objective of this course is enable participant to import a basic 3D model, prepare label fles for sheet metal developments, and detailed procurement documents. Participants also learn the general navigation through the CAMduct program. This course covers the indispensable core topics for working with Autodesk Fabrication CAMduct.

After completing this course, participants will be able to:

  • Understand the CAMduct workspace and user interface

  • Using basic editing, and viewing tools

  • Creating labels and other reports

  • Item Creation (MAKEPAT)

  • Customizing your CAMduct configuration to adhere to your shop standards

  • 3 Days

  • This course is designed for Ductwork Fabricators and Shop Managers.

Pre-Requisites

  • Knowledge of sheet metal fabrication techniques and basic computer skills.

Course Achievement

  • Autodesk Certification of Completion shall be issued to participants with full attendance record upon training completion.
