Courseware Description

• Using our proven instructor-led method, we will provide electrical designers, drafters, and engineers with the knowledge and skills needed to streamline the design process using Revit MEP Electrical and increase their efficiency with BIM modeling.

• The objective of this course is to enable students to create full 3D project models and set them up in working drawings. This training course includes BIM Training that focuses on basic tools that the majority of users need to work with Revit software.

• This course is designed for new users of Revit MEP Electrical.

Courseware Objectives

• Introduction to BIM and Autodesk Revit Basic Sketching

• Modify Tools

• Starting MEP Electrical Systems Projects by using different templates and link Revit models.

• Manage the different views and change their properties, control the visibility and appearance of elements in different views, and work with section, elevation, and 3D views.

• Placing Electrical Components.

• Creating Electrical Circuits, Cable Tray and Conduit.

• Electrical Panel Schedules

• Work with text and tags, dimensions, legends, and schedules.

• Add title blocks to a sheet, update the project information in a title block, and work with sheets.

Who Should Attend

• This course is designed for new users of Revit MEP Electrical, users of AutoCAD MEP, or other Autodesk software users who want to learn essential elements of Autodesk Revit MEP Electrical.

Pre-Requisites

• Working knowledge of MEP engineering, drafting or design.

• 3D modeling experience is necessary.

• Delegates should have a working knowledge of Microsoft® Windows®

Course Achievement

• Autodesk ATC Certification of Completion shall be issued to participants with full attendance record upon training completion.
